INTENDED USE: Proven to be the fastest and most aerodynamic alloy rims ever produced. (See data below). We’ve teamed up with Aforce Rims to produce our most superlative alloy disc wheelset ever.

Wind tunnel tested with a fabulous ultra modern 33mm deep profile and internal nipples, and built with the highest spec component choices.


Your wheels will be custom handbuilt to order by Andy Morgan, head wheel builder and founder of Kinetic-One here in the UK.

Available in gorgeous matte black finish with choice of K1 decals

These wheels are 2-WAY FIT: Tubeless & Clincher. And they have internal nipples for maximum aerodynamic benefit.

At 26mm wide they offer unprecedented comfort too ...but you need to make sure your frame and fork have clearance for this!

Tough enough for the hilliest and roughest of Sportives, Fast-accelerating enough for the busiest of bunch races and aero enough to ensure that you gain every possible watt of drag reduction. Several build options available - some lighter, some tougher and some both!

Turnaround time is normally only 4-7 days!





 


Utilising top end spokes (Sapim RACE or CX-Ray - or PSR 1422 AERO BLADE ) and top-end materials on rims and hubs means we can get weights down to a very small number


It's an incredibly fast-moving time for road disc systems at the moment with lots of competing standards for Axle types and frame fitting methods and for rotor fastening.

These wheel are totally versatile and ready to work all the modern variants that different brands are working to ( apart from the crazy specialized SCS system - which we understand Spesh is now abandoning for 2018 onwards!) 


Handbuilt to order and available for the whole wide range of modern axle and rotor fitment systems. Whatever your frame needs we can configure these wheels to your bike. And even if you change your bike - the hubs are all simply convertible to all the other axles standards! We think that's massively important as it future-proofs your wheels! (no one wants to be left with the betamax of hub types and obsolete wheels!)

RIMS:  Beautifully constructed from the incredibly light and tough Niobium Alloy. It may sound like something from star-trek! In reality its the perfect alloy for road disc wheels. The rim profile further enhances the specificity of the wheels to the requirements and peculiarities of road disc usage. The asymmetric rim shape means we can generate higher spoke tensions than conventional rims allow on the disc-side of the wheel. The result being far more responsive and affirmative braking.

AXLES
: We can configure your wheel axles to meet your frame requirements. So whether you have standard quick release or the more modern "thru-axle" setup, or whether you have 135mm or 142 mm rear spacing, we can supply them ready-to-roll!

ROTOR FITMENT : We use Bitex 6-Drive and DTSwiss hubs (for Centerlock and 6-bolt rotor builds).  



You can run these as conventional clincher wheels or you can set them up as Tubeless. Tubeless wheels can be run at lower pressure than clinchers and this helps provide a more comfortable ride and it also eliminates the possibility of pinch flat punctures (caused from hitting potholes etc.) It's also the case that by filling the tubeless tyre with a sealant such as STANS you can pretty much avoid all punctures forever more - even if you ride over glass or a nail sticks right through your tyre. Just remove it and the tyre will reseal around it!!!

But even if you're unsure about whether to go tubeless just yet  - worry not - you can run these wheels with inner tubes and clincher tyres in the traditional way!
